Compensation:
Base: Up to £42,000 annually

Total Earnings:
Approximately £46,500 annually, inclusive of company vehicle, tools, mobile device, laptop, and Veolia benefits, along with additional weekend (1 in 4) on-call remuneration.

Standard working hours: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, no shift work.

As a Technical Service Trainee within our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) division, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions aimed at fostering a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine servicing of CHP engines within specified timeframes.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to engine reliability and performance, ensuring successful repairs and restoration of service.


- Proficiently utilize electrical schematics and parts manuals.

- Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Operational Team Leaders on all aspects of CHP maintenance.

- Adhere to all Veolia policies and procedures.

- Be skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment necessary for CHP servicing and repairs.


- Possess qualifications or experience in gas engine maintenance, with a willingness to undergo further training.

- Have a solid understanding of engineering principles and be familiar with the operation of CHP facilities.

- Be Gas Safe certified or willing to pursue training (cost covered by Veolia).

- Participate in weekend (1 in 4) on-call duties as directed by management.

- Ideally, have a strong grasp of electrical troubleshooting and repair.

- Hold a valid driving license.
