Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and securing the right candidates in a timely and efficient manner for Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA.

This position involves providing insights, guidance, and expertise to the organization regarding its recruitment strategies, including methods to attract, source, interview, and onboard new employees.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring compliance, negotiation, onboarding, and agency collaboration. Partnering with hiring managers to comprehend their staffing requirements and offering advice on effective recruitment practices. Ensuring a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process. Customizing sourcing strategies to engage top talent, including passive candidates. Developing and implementing equitable, consistent, and unbiased selection techniques to assess competencies and cultural fit across all organizational levels. Establishing and nurturing a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship building. Crafting and reviewing location-specific human resource policies to ensure legal compliance (immigration, taxation, etc.). Cultivating relationships and understanding the needs of customers and key stakeholders. Regularly evaluating existing recruitment processes and activities to support recommendations for service enhancements. Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Engaging in early talent initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned recruiter capable of independently managing the full recruitment process, possessing:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to quickly establish rapport. Experience in crafting innovative job advertisements and selection methodologies. Familiarity with early talent programs and the apprenticeship levy is advantageous, though not mandatory.
