About the Role
DP World is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in a key leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing core HR functions, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and empowerment among our people, and driving initiatives to attract, develop, and engage top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Advisory: Collaborate closely with senior leaders to comprehensively understand organisational, staffing, and headcount needs and objectives.
- HR Functional Leadership: Lead all HR functional areas and initiatives, supporting the Site Manager effectively.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Spearhead recruitment efforts, ensuring the identification, training, and development of highly motivated candidates aligned with business objectives.
- HR Operations: Oversee third-party staffing partners for temporary/contract work, manage the HR budget, and ensure compliance with ISO/customer standards.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance to administrators and employees on HR policies and procedures, resolving issues effectively.
- Performance Management: Directly supervise staff by planning, assigning, and reviewing tasks, providing guidance and evaluation, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Succession Planning: Assess the need for and oversee the development and maintenance of HR programs, HRIS systems, and related studies.
- Labour Relations: Offer guidance and direction in labour relations, particularly for sites covered by collective bargaining agreements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, labour relations, or business or a field related to the position.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience performing professional level human resources duties.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience performing HR duties within a 3PL logistics or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Skills: Knowledge of principles and procedures used in human resources, extensive knowledge of local employment laws, rules, and/or regulations affecting human resources administration, and proficiency using computers, specifically Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems.
