Unlock the power of digital innovation at BMW Group Plant Hams Hall, a state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility located just outside Birmingham, UK. As an IT/Digital Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of the department, leveraging your expertise in data analytics and IT systems to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of data analytic systems and develop system processes to enhance ease of use.
  • Enable data transparency and drive business decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT applications that meet business needs.
  • Develop bespoke reporting using data analytic systems to inform business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Studying towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.
  • Excellent project management skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Programming language skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++, R, HTML).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, preferably PowerBI.

  • A competitive annual salary of £24,950.
  • 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract).
  • An attractive pension scheme.
  • Contracted working hours of 39 hours per week, with a half day on a Friday.
