Unlock your potential in a dynamic and innovative environment at BMW Group Plant Hams Hall. As an IT Specialist - Digital Transformation, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our plant's digital landscape.

Our Property Management department is responsible for managing the Operational and Preventative Maintenance Strategy for all Assets, Equipment, Systems, and Building Structures within the Facility Management (FM) scope of work. As a Digital Transformation Specialist, you will support the digital transformation of the department, considering the requirements of the data architecture and digital maturity assessment for departmental processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the continued rollout of data analytic systems within the department and developing system processes to allow ease of use.
  • Implementing IT applications, including SAP, Data Management, Energy Management, Building Information Modelling, Building Management Systems, and Digital Twin.
  • Enabling the department and services by bringing data transparency to use data in daily business, including the digitalisation overview of all application KPIs.
  • Bespoke reporting using our data analytic systems.

Requirements include:

  • Studying towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Digital Media, and IT or other relevant field, with a strong understanding of business processes and IT systems used to manage data.
  • Excellent communication skills, high intrinsic motivation, and creativity.
  • Good project management skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Programming language skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, C#, C++, R, HTML.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, preferably PowerBI.
  • Strong relationship with data handling and ability to understand its integration with a process.
  • Understanding of Oracle/SQL databases.
