At BMW Group, we're looking for a talented IT Specialist to join our team at Plant Hams Hall. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation and improving our operational efficiency.
As an IT Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting the digital transformation of our department, including the implementation of new IT applications and the development of system processes. You'll work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet our business needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the rollout of data analytic systems and developing system processes to ensure ease of use
- Implementing IT applications, including SAP, data management, and energy management
- Enabling data transparency and using data in daily business
- Bespoke reporting using our data analytic systems
Requirements for the role include:
- Studying towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and high intrinsic motivation
- Programming language skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, C#, C++, R, HTML
- Experience with data visualisation tools, preferably PowerBI
- Understanding of Oracle/SQL databases
We offer a competitive annual salary of £24,950, 26 days holiday per annum, and an attractive pension scheme. Contracted working hours are 39 hours a week, with a half day on a Friday, helping you develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
