About the Role

DP World is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by providing strategic HR guidance and support to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with our Site Manager and site leadership team to understand organizational, staffing, and headcount needs and objectives.
  2. Lead HR Functional Areas: Oversee all HR functional areas and initiatives at the site, supporting the Site Manager effectively.
  3. Talent Acquisition and Development: Spearhead recruitment efforts, ensuring the identification, training, and development of highly motivated candidates aligned with business objectives.
  4. HR Operations: Oversee third-party staffing partners for temporary/contract work, manage the HR budget, performance management, succession planning, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives at the site.
  5. Employee Relations: Provide guidance to administrators and employees on HR policies and procedures, resolving issues effectively.
  6. Staff Supervision: Directly supervise staff by planning, assigning, and reviewing tasks, providing guidance and evaluation, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  7. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with ISO/customer standards, support audits, and engage in global, regional, and local communication activities.
  8. HR Program Development: Assess the need for and oversee the development and maintenance of HR programs, HRIS systems, and related studies.
  9. Labour Relations: Offer guidance and direction in labour relations, particularly for sites covered by collective bargaining agreements. This includes managing union relationships, addressing grievances, handling arbitration, and participating in negotiations.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, labour relations, or business or a field related to the position.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of experience performing professional level human resources duties.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience performing HR duties within a 3PL logistics or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of principles and procedures used in human resources, extensive knowledge of local employment laws, rules, and/or regulations affecting human resources administration, and proficiency using computers, specifically Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems.
