Main Responsibilities- Ensure high-quality radiographic standards are maintained by self and others within the team.
- Set, monitor, and maintain standards of care to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Proactively manage risk and maintain patient safety, adhering to health, safety, and security legislation, policies, and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare workers to ensure appropriate dissemination of complex information.
- Manage the service in a safe and effective manner, including personnel, facilities, and associated systems and processes.
- Deliver and coordinate care through professional practice, delegation, and supervision of duties carried out by staff within the team.
- Participate in development, education, and training of staff and students.
- Professional qualification in radiography (DCR or Radiography degree).
- HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate qualification (appropriate to post).
- Attendance at study days and conferences.
- Management experience.
