About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our Network Modelling function, you will play a crucial role in advancing our near-real-time modelling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain hydraulic models to support network planning and projects, ensuring optimal use of existing assets and design of new capital schemes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations, strategic control, and asset management, to provide specialist advice and solutions to network challenges.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Network Modelling function, driving innovation and improvement in our modelling capabilities.
  • Maintain and develop our centralised water network model library, ensuring its accuracy and relevance to business needs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Clean Water WS Pro, with a strong understanding of hydraulic modelling principles and practices.
  • Passion for hydraulic modelling and a desire to advance near-real-time modelling capabilities.
  • Interest in becoming chartered in a related field, with a demonstrable understanding of water networks or network models.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
