Our mission is to ensure that every vision-impaired veteran can lead the life they choose. We provide a range of services to support our members, including home visits, activity support, fundraising, and awareness-raising.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise recruitment programmes and match volunteer skills to member needs
  • Deliver induction and training to volunteers
  • Co-ordinate volunteers to conduct home visits, activity support, fundraising, and awareness-raising
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor volunteer activities
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and risk management procedures

About You

  • Experience in supporting a team of volunteers
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance to colleagues
  • Experience of cross departmental working
  • Experience of building external networks and relationships
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A qualification in volunteer or people management, or equivalent relevant vocational experience
