Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Events Executive / Coordinator to join our team at the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), the national charity supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver fundraising events, including corporate partnerships and community outreach initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local businesses, civic administrations, and charitable organizations.
- Manage supporter experiences and journeys, ensuring retention and growth of our supporter base.
- Collaborate with the Comms & Marketing team to produce and distribute event marketing materials.
- Support and assist Volunteer committees/advocates to encourage fundraising and engagement.
- Liaise with local media organizations, volunteer committee chairs, and other stakeholders to promote the charity's work.
- Ensure accurate records are kept and income is correctly batched and accounted for.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use a wide range of IT applications.
- Understanding of social media tools and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Well-developed communication skills and ability to represent the charity's values.
- Desirable: experience of the charity sector, particularly events, and previous experience of the Armed Forces.
- Starting salary of £32,500 per annum + benefits.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
- Initial 2-year fixed-term contract, with potential for permanent employment after 2 years.
