We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Global, Corporate and Speciality lines business area. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance on risk and control matters, commercial growth initiatives, and change.
- Foster a good risk culture by raising awareness about the importance of risk management and control across GCS.
- Ensure the ongoing provision of risk management advice and guidance to guarantee sound business decisions are made.
- Interpret and apply framework requirements to align with business objectives.
- Set and chair the risk functional risk forums, including the agenda, and identify and manage risks proactively.
- Evaluate the control environment to enhance existing controls and processes to ensure they align with business standards and policies, while simplifying processes.
Requirements:
- London Market or Lloyds experience within the Insurance sector is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels, with proven business partnering experience.
- Proven track record of influencing C-Suite and senior stakeholders on all things Risk and Conduct, including 1st and 2nd line.
- Knowledge of the General Insurance market and associated regulatory frameworks.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve performance blockages.

- Starting salary circa £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's).
