About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prisoner Custody Officer in Glasgow, Bellshill, and surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure transportation of prisoners to and from courts, police stations, and prisons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort and supervise prisoners during transportation
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of prisoners
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and court officials to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to prisoner movements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license (Cat C1 or Cat D preferred)
  • Basic level of physical fitness and flexibility
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
