Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with diverse teams to comprehend business requirements, priorities, and the immediate scope of projects.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to evaluate study performance and inform portfolio-level strategies.
- Develop and oversee tools for precise short- and long-term forecasting.
- Articulate the impact of trial design components, site and country selection, competitor actions, and innovative engagement strategies on clinical trial recruitment and retention forecasts.
- Employ analytical and statistical methodologies to address business inquiries using various data sources and technical tools/languages.
- Assist in identifying suitable sites and countries for trial placements.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to devise solutions, achieve consensus, and deliver significant business insights.
- Remain updated with and integrate emerging relevant methodologies, tools, and applications to ensure effective and impactful approaches.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors and/or management consulting.
- Proficiency in Patient Insights, Investigator Insights, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Data Analytics, Advanced Data Analytics, Resource Management, Information Visualization, and/or Data Science.
- Familiarity with various forecasting techniques and methodologies.
- Competence in applying exploratory and confirmatory data analysis techniques that guide business decisions.
- Experience with programming, statistical, and analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Matlab, SAS, Google/Adobe Analytics).
- Ability to integrate data from diverse sources and present findings in various formats and mediums.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a consultative approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
