Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Support
- Supports sales teams in the marketing and sales of cardiovascular products, particularly those used by cardiac surgeons.
- Manages the inventory of demonstration equipment and ensures its proper maintenance.
- Completes necessary documentation and client administration, notifies relevant stakeholders of issues or problems requiring immediate attention.
- Acts as a representative of Terumo Europe to healthcare professionals and support staff related to Terumo CV products, procedures, and services.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, and services, including competitive products and services.
Clinical and Technical Support
- Represents Terumo Europe during surgeries to provide clinical support, troubleshooting, and other technical assistance.
- Provides follow-ups in hospitals and clinics, executes field clinical investigations in assigned institutions, receives and responds to technical inquiries, researches solutions to questions and problems.
Education and Training
- Organizes and conducts technical training programs for clinicians, hospital personnel, and office staff.
- Coordinates and conducts training of sales representatives (internal and external) and hospital staff (train the trainer) if required.
- Follows trends in the cardiovascular field on new products and procedures and informs marketing and sales functions on potential opportunities or threats for the Terumo CV business.
Events and Product Development
- Participates in technical seminars, trade shows, and symposia.
- Acts as a representative of Terumo Europe and offers clinical and technical information to customers during these events.
- Assists Terumo CV marketing in providing product development requirements to manufacturing.
- Coordinates clinical evaluations of updated or new products together with the designated product manager and/or responsible sales branch.
- Participates in planning and execution of clinical studies involving CV products together with the Terumo Medical and Clinical Department.
- Provides technical assistance to Terumo Europe Quality Affairs on post-market product performance reviews.
Profile Requirements
- Requires a technical or science university degree with additional training/certification in cardiovascular surgery, nursing, or other relevant technical discipline.
- Has performed a minimum of 300 EVH cases over the last 3 years and a total of 5 years working experience in a clinical setting.
- Valid SCP (Surgical Care Practitioner) License.
- Affinity with sales and tailored customer approach.
- Excellent presentation and training skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Other languages are considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel 70% of working time in all EMEA territory.
