Job Summary

The Management and Marketing team of Terumo works in the EMEA HQ, supporting our distributor network through Key Account Managers.

To offer optimal sales, marketing, and service support to our customers - hospitals and distributors - we're looking to expand our sales team with a junior Product Specialist, based in the UK for the region UK & Nordics.

The main responsibilities are to perform technical and product support, and trainings for our product portfolio.

In parallel, assist the Product Manager in developing marketing materials and activities related to the Hospital Care Solutions Business Unit.

Job Responsibilities

1. Market Presence

You will visit hospitals and distributors to promote our products, delivering services such as training, product knowledge, promotional materials, tender support, and launch of new products, as well as support in local events and congresses.

• Maintain good customer/sales communication and relation, addressing questions and issues in a professional and timely manner.

• Train and certify service dealers, distributors, and end-users.

2. Sales and Marketing Support

You will support the Key Account Manager in all sales and marketing activities, including:

• Daily marketing tasks, such as adjusting marketing materials to local and distributor needs.

• Tenders: documentation, gathering necessary information like certifications and technical specification sheets.

3. Development-Related Tasks

• Look for new equipment, applications, technologies, and suppliers, assisting in new developments of equipment and software.

• Assist in evaluation and clinical trials (evaluation of prototypes).

• Create and maintain a FAQ database with all incoming questions on products.

Profile Description

  • Education: Biomedical Engineer or nurse.
  • Well-developed computer skills, communication skills, presentation, and training skills.
  • High personal integrity.
  • High relational competences as a motivator, and inclined to empowerment of others. Networker and connective personality.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; any other European language is an advantage.
  • You love to travel (up to 50%), are curious, and like to discover.
