Environmental Essentials Ltd is seeking an experienced Regional Asbestos Auditor to join our team in the South East Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance, mentoring, and training to regionally based field staff, ensuring that the company maintains continual compliance with field staff assessment, witness, and quality assurance auditing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake on-site training and assessment of field staff as required.
  2. Supervise and mentor trainees/new technical staff or existing staff competency assessments, witness auditing, and field-related QA activities.
  3. Collate and provide feedback on staff performance to the Training and Development Manager and regional management.
  4. Escalate substandard performance and personnel failing to meet expected progress to the regional management team.
  5. Communicate the company's operating procedures, standards, and expectations through training and own behavior.
  6. Assist the Quality Manager with regionally based quality control activities such as equipment calibrations and maintenance, provision and collation of QC schemes, investigations in relation to non-conforming work and client complaints.
  7. Maintain and manage the skills matrix for technical field staff operating from the regional office.
About You
  • P402, P403, P404 qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience within the asbestos industry and previous experience of working under a UKAS accredited management system.
  • Experience of providing supervision/mentoring of field staff.
  • Understanding of quality processes and auditing techniques.
  • Awareness of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry.
