About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Field Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and configure customer solutions at customer premises and data centre locations across the UK.
  2. Perform structured cabling and wireless surveys to support the deployment of SDWAN and Voice handsets.
  3. Conduct site audits and diagnostics to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  4. Provide out-of-hours on-call support to customers and perform on-site repairs and replacements as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  6. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to resolve technical issues and exceed customer expectations.

About You:

  1. You will be a team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. You will have hands-on experience with software and hardware peripherals, including UCasS, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  3. You will have experience with installation and configuration of UCasS solutions and structured cabling.
  4. You will have a strong understanding of wireless surveys and design principles.
  5. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse customer groups.
  6. You will be passionate about delivering a customer experience that exceeds expectations.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Configuration and deployment of Horizon.
  2. Previous experience with technical support for Cisco, Polycom, or Yealink devices.
  3. Knowledge of Meraki deployment (SDWAN).
  4. Experience with structured cabling and wireless surveys.
  5. Installation of Cisco CPE.
