Job Title: Quality Assurance Team Leader

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Team Leader to become a vital part of our organization at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be tasked with directing, coordinating, and managing various functions within the Quality Assurance department to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main contact for technical, compliance, and staffing matters.
  • Oversee, plan, and coordinate team initiatives to align with business objectives.
  • Perform Quality Control Chemistry assessments on incoming materials and finished product samples.
  • Review and revise technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) records.
  • Ensure the verification and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Manage inventory levels of QC chemicals and oversee batch release processes.
  • Collaborate with fellow QC leaders to drive process enhancement projects.
  • Promote a culture of quality across the Quality Control department.
  • Act in place of the QC Manager when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • In-depth understanding of analytical methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
