About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team at the IOTA Foundation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of our product roadmap and deliverables, aligning efforts across various technical teams, the product design team, and the business team.

TWIN (Trade Worldwide Information Network) is a digital infrastructure for international trade, powered by IOTA technologies. It enables governments and industry to build digital twins, digital product passports, and collaborate on digital trade data sharing. TWIN features digital identity for organisations, tokenised assets, W3C technical standards, and follows international data standards. It is governed by 6 organisations coming together to enable governments and industry to collaborate around an impartial governance framework.

The aim is to solve some of the most pressing and highest value-for-cost challenges globally; frictionless global trade. Removing red tape at the borders, creating supply chain visibility for better planning, ensuring better product traceability, building carbon metrics into our supply chains, and enabling easier access to trade finance.

You will be working with team members globally, including staff from partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roadmap Coordination: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with our strategic goals and ensures timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, product design, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of efforts.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and roadblocks in the development process and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Product Vision: Contribute to the development and refinement of the product vision, ensuring that it aligns with market needs and business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress of product development initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 8 years of work experience and 3+ years experience in Technical Product Management
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management tools and software (e.g Jira, ClickUp).
Nice to Have
  • Experience in blockchain, digital identity, and supply chain management.
