Job Title: Education Support Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality education to students with diverse needs.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations and modifications.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements:
  • A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (minimum).
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements for health and safety, SEN, and child safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting students with varying needs and abilities.
  • Experience of working with students with complex needs, including language difficulties or other special requirements.
  • Determination to raise student achievement and ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £19, £21,349.29 pro-rata (based on £23,000 - £24,960 full-time equivalent per annum).
  • Full-time, 37 hours per week (Term Time Only, 39 Weeks).
  • A fixed-term contract until July 2025.
  • Access to a car and a full driving licence is a requirement of this role.
