Company Overview: Belcan is collaborating with a prominent engineering and maintenance organization seeking to enhance their team with a remarkable opportunity for a Piping Systems Engineer.

Position Summary: The Piping Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering professional and proficient piping and mechanical engineering support, guidance, and expertise to offshore initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver piping schematics as part of project documentation.
  • Create comprehensive work packages for projects, encompassing material take-off sheets, labor requirements, and operational instructions.
  • Serve as the Job Responsible Engineer during offshore project implementation.
  • Formulate a project delivery strategy, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Develop and submit project CTR for client approval and initiate purchase orders in the system.
  • Maintain necessary offshore survival and medical certifications.
  • Ensure adherence to the standard project gate decision process: Appraise, Select, Define, Execute, Operate.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, including engineering consultancies, piping surveyors, and fabrication entities.
  • Provide technical assistance to project engineers during client shutdowns and TAR outages, participating in planning discussions as needed.
  • Prepare detailed project work packages, including method statements, resource allocations, and material specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in offshore construction and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Certifications: BOSIET, MIST, Offshore Medical, and knowledge of Piping Systems, including pressure vessels, valves, and hangers.
  • Familiarity with Confined Space Entry and LOLER regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations as required.
