JOB OVERVIEW

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Principal Pipe Stress Engineer with a robust background in the oil and gas petrochemical sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct Pipe Stress Analysis utilizing Caesar II software
  • Compile comprehensive Stress Reports
  • Review and validate the work of fellow Stress Engineers
  • Act as a support for the UK Stress Focal point
  • Perform calculations for flange joints
  • Execute trunnion and reinforcement calculations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess experience in:
  • Onshore facilities within the Oil and Gas sector
  • Offshore Oil and Gas operations
  • Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs)
  • Transmission systems
  • Assessment of blast, seismic, and other occasional loads
