Wood PLC is seeking a highly experienced Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Pipe Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level pipe stress analysis and design services to our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and design services for oil and gas facilities, including onshore and offshore platforms, FPSOs, and transmission systems.
  • Develop and implement pipe stress analysis methodologies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of pipe stress analysis services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform pipe stress analysis tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices in pipe stress analysis and design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and design for the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality pipe stress analysis services to clients.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including ASME, API, and ISO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
