Oliver James is seeking a seasoned pensions actuary to join their Pension Risk Transfer team as an Associate Director. This role offers flexibility in working arrangements, allowing you to choose from various UK office locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pension risk transfer strategies for clients, including buy-ins, buyouts, longevity swaps, superfunds, and third-party capital transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their scheme's journey plans and identify suitable risk reduction solutions.
  • Lead the provider selection process, encompassing bidding rounds, commercial negotiations, and beauty parades.

Requirements:

  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) qualification with relevant post-qualification experience.
