Job Title: Distributor Sales Manager

A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Distributor Sales Manager to join their European sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to create organic growth in assigned territories, working closely with inside sales, marketing, and sales management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Value-added selling to key customers and distributors, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Develop and execute strategies to create organic growth in assigned territories.
  • Sell consumable products and accessories, as well as capital equipment, with the help of Product Management and the rest of the team.
  • Develop or enhance sales capabilities through continuing education seminars and/or programs.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets across assigned territories.
  • Manage existing key accounts and distributors.
  • Identify and acquire new key accounts and distributors in assigned territories.
Requirements:
  • Experience of selling a component or consumable across targeted markets via distributors.
  • Demonstrable key account management experience.
  • Execute a strategic sales hunter mindset combined with excellent account management.
  • Demonstrate a solid track record of achieving successful sales growth within manufacturing, oil and gas, aerospace, or automotive industries.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to communicate value propositions at all levels within key accounts or distributors.
  • Results-oriented, self-organized, and self-motivated, with a high level of reliability.
  • Ability and willingness to travel freely within assigned territory, including overnight travel, a minimum of 30% of the time.
