The Department of Life Sciences at Manchester Metropolitan University is a leading academic unit that attracts a large number of students on various foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs. At the undergraduate level, we offer degrees in Biomedical Science, Healthcare Science (Physiological Sciences), Human Physiology, and Human Biosciences. Our postgraduate programs include Biomedical Science, Clinical Sciences, and Human Physiology.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill a part-time, fixed-term position for 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing support materials for doctoral students enrolled in the Higher Specialist Scientist Training (HSST) program. The ideal candidate will have an academic, research, and/or clinical background with expertise and experience in histopathology.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a first and higher degree, or equivalent clinical experience, in a relevant discipline.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the HSST program.
- Demonstrate a strong track record in the area of histopathology.
