Team Manager Opportunity in South London

A family-owned Independent Fostering Agency in South London is seeking a skilled Team Manager to oversee their growing fostering service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing social workers, ensuring staff have necessary training and supervision, and effectively planning and managing the foster care service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support social workers to deliver high-quality care to children and young people
  • Recruit, interview, and appoint social work staff to meet the needs of the service
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and grow the foster care service

Requirements:

  • Recognized Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Valid registration with Social Work England
  • Significant experience of working within fostering
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches
  • Full UK driving license
