About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialist Dietitian to join our expanding team within the surgical and critical care settings. You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive dietetic services, ensuring patients receive optimal nutritional support throughout their recovery journey.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nutritional advice to patients in both surgical and intensive care units, collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs, medical conditions, and dietary preferences.
- Contribute to the development, evaluation, and quality improvement of dietetic services within the surgical and intensive care departments.
- Supervise and mentor student dietitians, dietetic assistants, and junior staff members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in audit, research, and service improvement projects to enhance clinical outcomes and advance the field of dietetics.
