About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialist Dietitian to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide a comprehensive dietetics service in surgical and critical care settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and quality improve the surgical and intensive care department's dietetic service
  • Contribute to the development of ICU-based nutritional protocols and plans
  • Participate in audit and research related to critical care to improve clinical outcomes
  • Provide expert nutritional advice to patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • BSc Nutrition and dietetics or relevant degree with postgraduate diploma in dietetics
  • Health Professions Council registration for dietetics
  • Trained in facilitated learning for Undergraduate Practice Placements
