We are pleased to announce a newly established position within the Palliative Medicine department, reflecting our dedication to delivering outstanding support for patients and their families during critical moments of life.

In collaboration with fellow Consultants, you will spearhead a dedicated palliative care service within the healthcare facility, which also encompasses the on-site Intermediate Care Centre.

This role includes 6 Programmed Activities (PAs), with the possibility of discussing flexible arrangements.

The department prioritizes understanding the distinct needs and preferences of each patient, fostering a nurturing and rewarding workplace.

Candidates must possess registration with the GMC specialist Register or be nearing the completion of their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver consultant-led specialized palliative and end of life care
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Guarantee exceptional care for patients and their families
