Dispensing Optician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our team at Contract Personnel Limited. As a key member of our practice team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dispensing services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing: Ensure accurate and appropriate dispensing of prescriptions, select lenses and frames to suit customer needs, and check orders received from Optical Technicians.
  • Selling & Customer Relationship Management: Maximise sales, ascertain customer wants and needs, and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Team: Implement policies and procedures, contribute to positive working relationships, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Health & Safety / Environmental Health: Maintain a safe working environment, follow company procedures, and report any safety concerns.
  • Other Tasks: Represent the company at events, undertake additional tasks as required, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
