Location:

We are looking for an experienced and committed Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to become a vital member of our team at a Data Centre in Farnborough.

In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the seamless operation of our critical infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and assessments of electrical systems and apparatus in a high-stakes environment.
  • Executing preventive and corrective maintenance on power distribution systems, backup generators, and other electrical apparatus.
  • Overseeing and diagnosing the Building Management System (BMS) to guarantee peak performance.
  • Detecting and resolving electrical malfunctions and challenges promptly.
  • Collaborating with the broader facilities team to uphold a secure and efficient operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Systems Engineer in a critical environment, ideally within a data centre or comparable setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, apparatus, and maintenance protocols.
  • Expertise in identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with power distribution systems, backup generators, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.

Work Schedule:
The selected candidate will follow a continental shift pattern, which includes:
  • Four nights on, followed by four days off
  • Three days on, then three nights on
  • The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of £49000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
