Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our Electrical Power Systems team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment, authoring and reviewing technical documentation, and managing associated technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain Electrical Power Systems designs and documentation
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Electrical Power Systems meet customer requirements
  3. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  4. Engage with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems
  5. Travel to various locations throughout the UK to support project delivery
Requirements:

Essential

  1. Degree qualified Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience
  2. Engineering Chartership required (or significant progress towards Chartership can be demonstrated)
  3. Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
