Olympia Events is undergoing a period of transformation and growth. In 2017, the venue was acquired by a consortium led by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International. Work is currently underway to revitalize the wider estate into a vibrant cultural hub, with Olympia Events at its core. Once complete, the estate will feature a new theatre, music venue, two hotels, over 30 dining options, world-class office space, and over two acres of public realm.

Olympia Events is part of ASM Global, the world's leading venue management company and producer of live event experiences. With over 350+ premier venues worldwide, we operate and invest in the world's most important stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and theaters, including entertainment districts and mixed-use developments.

Job Purpose:

This role presents a unique opportunity to drive transformational change in setting brand perception and shaping and managing the reputation and public image of the Olympia Events business. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide direction and leadership in devising Olympia Events' marketing and communications strategy.

You will be responsible for setting and guiding the strategy on all matters of communications and public relations, providing strategic leadership on all significant matters involving the media. You will also work across the business to drive internal communication, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.

You will be a highly experienced, commercially aware senior leader with a strong track record in delivering marketing and communications solutions and campaigns for leading businesses and brands. You will be responsible for overseeing all communication and marketing plans for a business in transition, requiring the ability to operate in an evolving, fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to drive brand perception and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced, commercially aware senior leader with a strong track record in delivering marketing and communications solutions and campaigns for leading businesses and brands.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and communications principles, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work across the business to drive internal communication and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Ability to operate in an evolving, fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment, with a strong focus on delivering results in a dynamic and changing landscape.
