Job Title: Specialist Children and Family Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Children and Family Worker to join our team. As a Specialist Children and Family Worker, you will be working closely with families to build strong relationships and promote positive change.

About the Role:
  • Work with families to identify and address complex needs
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote positive change
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families
  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, prioritizing and coordinating support to meet the needs of families
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to families, professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the work of the team
About You:
  • Significant experience of working with children and families with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing and managing a caseload of complex cases
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of families
