An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work with one of the UK's premier facilities management firms.
This role encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple sites, focusing on maintaining building operations efficiently and cost-effectively. Experience in commercial environments, especially within the retail industry, is highly beneficial.
The responsibilities include a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive building tasks, both inside and outside the premises, which include:

  • Building Maintenance
    • Roof - address leaks and perform quarterly gutter and drainage clearance
    • Brickwork - execute repairs to walls
    • Flooring - fix vinyl and ceramic tiles
    • Parking lot / yard maintenance
    • Roller shutters - conduct annual PPM and reactive repairs

Painting and Decorating

  • Perform minor painting touch-ups

Plumbing and Drainage

  • Clear blockages in drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
  • Fix leaking taps and washers.
