Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of facilities and estate management at our institution. This role involves both operational oversight and strategic development of facilities-related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital investments in the physical estate, ensuring effective adaptation, alteration, refurbishment, and improvement projects.
  • Oversee associated budgets related to the estates service.
  • Act as the organization's competent person on-site, leading senior management initiatives in health & safety, fire safety, and security.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent qualifications, along with relevant professional certifications. Extensive experience in managing both hard and soft facilities services, as well as health & safety protocols, is essential. You will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the college community.

Demonstrable experience in building services engineering, management of BMS systems, compliance, change management, and contract management is required. You should also have a proven track record in developing and executing capital programs on schedule and within budget.
