We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver effective quality nursing care by assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure a positive experience.
- Participate in the introduction of evidence-based practice to improve patient-centered care.
- Supervise and direct Health Care Assistants in their daily workload.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and outside agencies, adhering to data protection and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Implement and share best infection control practices.
- Undertake manual handling assessments and ensure identified actions are met.
- Registered Nurse training completed or within 1 year of qualifying.
- NMC Registered Nurse or in final year of course.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Attention to detail.
