About the Role: Michael Page is pleased to collaborate with a prominent Global Enterprise to seek a Financial Strategy Partner who will deliver financial insights and strategic collaboration to operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage journal entries and provide timely analysis to stakeholders, ensuring clarity on variances and factors affecting month-end results.
  • Develop rolling monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term contract projections in close cooperation with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Enhance the financial literacy of non-finance managers, enabling them to take ownership of their forecasts and present financial data competently.
  • Oversee accurate and timely billing of contract amounts to facilitate efficient cash collection.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including IFRS 15.
  • Conduct financial reporting to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including group requirements.
  • Provide financial guidance and partnership regarding contract modifications, including thorough reviews and challenges to project business cases.

Performance Improvement:

Prepare and present data on cost and contract performance, offering recommendations and initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

Financial Governance: Uphold best practices in financial control and governance, ensuring that recognized costs are allowable, attributable, and reasonable within a regulated reporting framework.

Change Management Support: Assist the business in implementing change programs necessary to meet contractual obligations, including adjustments to cost collection methods and time tracking processes.

Continuous Improvement: Support finance department initiatives aimed at enhancing the consistency and efficiency of financial reporting, including the adoption of new tools and methodologies.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a business partnering and financial reporting capacity, along with:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial systems and the ability to customize reports to streamline reporting timelines.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
