We are currently in search of a skilled and experienced Estimator to enhance our commercial contracts division.

Role and Responsibilities: As an Estimator in our commercial contracts division, you will be instrumental in delivering precise cost assessments for tenders and quotations related to PVCu windows, doors, and related products. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Comprehensive Cost Assessments: Generate thorough and precise cost evaluations for both tenders and quotations, ensuring all specifications and client requirements are addressed.
  • Price Negotiation: Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate optimal pricing, balancing cost efficiency with quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster relationships with clients, main contractors, and material suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Contribution: Support the overall success of the commercial contracts division by engaging in various project phases from initiation to completion.

Requirements: To thrive in this position, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: A robust understanding of the PVCu windows sector or a background in building materials is essential for accurate estimating and effective communication with suppliers and contractors.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in estimating or sales support within a builders merchant environment or a commercial construction contractor is crucial for excelling in this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong planning and organizational capabilities to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members.
