About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the management of our expanding property portfolio across Northern England and Southern Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile client monies and manage purchase ledgers with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle credit control and process agent fees in a timely manner.
  • Prepare rental statements and manage client funds with a high level of precision.
  • Collaborate with property managers and the accounts team on bank reconciliations to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Manage deposits and liaise with clients, colleagues, and contractors to resolve any issues promptly.
About You
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients and colleagues alike.
  • Experience in VAT and property-related accounts is preferred but not essential.
  • Full driving license and own car required for business travel.
