The Role
As a Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the branch. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge risk management systems and participate in key committees, ensuring the bank's risk profile aligns with its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Risk Officer:
- Identify and monitor financial risks, including liquidity, market, credit, and operational risks
- Analyse risk reports and prepare management information for decision-making
- Review and improve risk-related policies and procedures
- Manage counterparty and derivative risks
- Monitor financial market conditions and prepare periodic reports
Required knowledge and experience for the Risk Officer role:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in risk management within banking or financial services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
