The Role

As a Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the branch. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge risk management systems and participate in key committees, ensuring the bank's risk profile aligns with its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities of the Risk Officer:

  • Identify and monitor financial risks, including liquidity, market, credit, and operational risks
  • Analyse risk reports and prepare management information for decision-making
  • Review and improve risk-related policies and procedures
  • Manage counterparty and derivative risks
  • Monitor financial market conditions and prepare periodic reports

Required knowledge and experience for the Risk Officer role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in risk management within banking or financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
