We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team at Polaris Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and their families.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of children's services and the ability to work effectively with Local Authorities and partner agencies. You will be responsible for holding case responsibility, overseeing and supporting the delivery of intervention services, and implementing, monitoring, and reviewing service plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Hold case responsibility and oversee the delivery of intervention services to children, young people, and families.
- Respond to referrals or service requests from Local Authority partners.
- Implement, monitor, and review service plans relating to the assessed needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Refer children, young people, and their families to appropriate specialist or universal services.
- Contribute to the provision of regular returns/contract monitoring reports to the customer.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Social Work qualification recognized by Social Work England or an equivalent body. You will also need to have proven experience of working with children, young people, and their families, including foster parents, with complex and multiple needs. A comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant legislation pertaining to children's services and fostering is also essential.
