We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our groundworks and civil engineering projects.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile groundworks and civil engineering projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and analysing commercial risks and developing effective responses
- Undertaking cost analysis and providing expert advice on contractual claims
- Assisting in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Advising on procurement strategy and preparing and analysing costing for tenders
- Allocating work to subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Subcontractor groundworks background, with experience of running groundworks projects from inception to final account
- Civil engineering sector experience, ideally working for a groundworks subcontractor
- Experience of running complex civil engineering and groundworks jobs as a lead Quantity Surveyor
- Experience of working in a fast-paced civil engineering environment
- Experience of compiling and administering NEC subcontract contracts
What We Offer
