Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite, specializing in Groundworks & Civil Engineering projects.

About the Role
  • This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of commercial risks, costs analysis, and contractual claims.
  • As a Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing commercial risks, undertaking costs analysis, and providing advice on contractual claims.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze commercial risks and develop responses to mitigate them.
  • Undertake costs analysis and provide advice on contractual claims to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Advise on procurement strategy and prepare and analyze costing for tenders to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors and ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Subcontractor groundworks background with experience running groundworks projects from inception to final account.
  • Civil engineering sector experience, ideally working for a groundworks subcontractor.
  • Experience running complex civil engineering and groundworks jobs as a lead Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced civil engineering environment.
  • Compiled and administered NEC subcontract contracts previously.

  • Salary: £45,000 - £58,000 (dependent on experience).
