Position Overview

Insurance Accounting Analyst - Hybrid Role

Lorien is seeking an experienced Insurance Accounting Analyst to join our esteemed client, a prominent player in the Insurance Broking sector. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and is designed for professionals with a strong background in Insurance Accounting Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and prototyping sessions to gather and define business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis for strategic initiatives within the project portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with technology vendors to develop solutions that align with business needs and provide informed recommendations.
  • Oversee the prioritization process in conjunction with business stakeholders and solution providers, ensuring alignment with the approved project scope.
  • Offer subject matter expertise to the Finance team to enhance policies, standards, and data-related requirements.
  • Create wireframes, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive links and impact assessments across the entire finance process.
  • Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to evaluate and monitor compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency of financial processes.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Insurance Broking Accounting Solutions.
  • Knowledge in areas such as Credit Control, Payments, or Insurer Statement Recommendations.
  • Background in Finance Transformations.
  • Proven experience managing projects from initiation through user acceptance testing and launch.
  • Ability to produce key analytical artifacts, including wireframes, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to present and collaborate with project teams across global markets, including both onshore and offshore models.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a dynamic team environment, delivering high-quality business analysis in an agile setting while meeting project deadlines.
