About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Manager to lead and directly line manage a support team in Fareham and nearby services to deliver the highest quality of support that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the individuals who draw on it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead as an exemplary role model to achieve outstanding, personalised support, ensuring our customers are at heart of all we do, and their needs are met.
  • Ensure your team feel valued and supported, providing them with a full understanding of what is expected of them and giving them the skills and tools to undertake their role to the best of their abilities.
  • Manage staff effectively, including staff issues in line with policy and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality, personalised support within the Health and Social Care sector, leading and motivating a team of people to deliver excellent services.
  • Support with customer and their needs when needed.
  • Understand the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and understand the importance of confidentiality.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous management experience in adult care.
  • Able to work alongside other Support Managers and Operations Managers.
  • Competent with IT.
  • At least 2 years of experience in adult care.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, or sleep-in duties if required.
