About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Kilfillan House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, supporting their independence and promoting their overall wellbeing.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with their medication needs, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations to promote their mental and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care and support
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that their needs are met and their preferences are respected
