Position Overview:
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Warranty Quality Assurance Specialist at React Recruitment Ltd.

Compensation:
Annual salary of £35,000

Working Hours:
Full-time position with core hours of 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. The schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Overtime:
Additional hours may be required based on workload demands.

Location:
Dartford

Role Responsibilities:
The Warranty Quality Assurance Specialist will manage two primary functions: the evaluation and processing of warranty claims, as well as overseeing the quality control of components, including the 'Return to Vendor' procedures. A meticulous approach and keen attention to detail will lead to significant improvements in warranty claim reduction and component quality enhancement.

  • Manage the online warranty claims platform.
  • Evaluate and determine warranty claims.
  • Monitor and respond to safety recalls.
  • Process returned items.
  • Handle warranty invoicing.
  • Generate weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
  • Collaborate with suppliers regarding ongoing quality issues.
  • Identify and isolate defective components.
  • Process and follow up on supplier returns.
  • Perform various related tasks as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Excellent written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS-Word and MS-Excel.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks, including handling and potentially shipping parts.
  • Interest in developing technical knowledge.
  • Confidence in discussing quality concerns with suppliers.
  • Ability to travel for supplier visits.
  • Experience in warranty processing at a dealership level is advantageous.
